The beach was beautiful this morning, the tide was way way out and there was a huge expanse of sand, and the sun was out but it wasn't too hot. We walked all the way up to Sonoran Sky, the first of the Sandy Beach Resorts and the place where we had our meal overlooking the ocean the day we closed on the house.
We worked for a couple of hours, then Carl and I drove out to meet with Wayne Campbell. Wayne is from Calgary,a mover and shaker selling condos out at Laguna Shores. http://www.lagunashoresgcc.com/ They're just building it, it looks like it's going to be amazing.
Wayne's the guy we met in May who has a warehouse full of Macy's overstock bedding. He wants us to sell it online. Next Wednesday we're all driving up to Phoenix to look at the warehouse (no air conditioning) and sort out what's there so we can sell it for him. Meanwhile, he's closing his store here and will be selling his handmade candles online (or we will), and he also has another deal I don't want to say too much about yet, but it involves native art.
So pretty exciting, all in all. His friend Ron will keep Shadow overnight. We're taking Shadow out tomorrow to meet Ron's lab, and also to get tons of pictures organized. And I expect we'll have lunch out there again as well. He bought us lunch today. Nice guy, his wife's a sweetheart as well. We saw some of the bedding, it was really top of the line linens, I can't see any reason why we can't sell it for him, the other stuff as well. What we have to keep on top of is shipping. That's the biggest part of selling things on the internet.
So it was nice to get that started, hopefully we can make a few bucks from this, and Wayne said tomorrow he'll talk to us about selling real estate. Yeah. I don't think so.
Here are a few more things around town:

Cool, hope you can find a niche in the market to fit into.
Have you ever looked here? Big punch on it's way to Texas for sure, but can't look away.

That's just crazy. That's the whole frigging gulf of Mexico. They's evacuating Galveston, but some people are refusing to go. I'd be SO out of there!!
