Crazy dogs and siesta land

Shadow has a new friend who has been greeting him every morning. We call him Lucky:

And Carl created SiestaLand, just for fat gringas and their esposos:

Shadow has apparently come to grips with the heat. Today he decided to come out and lie in the sun for a while.

Last night when we were at the Malecon, a group of teenagers were calling, "wolf!!". They liked Shadow a lot, although they were a little nervous. I think they thought he really was a wolf.

Tomorrow, Cholla Bay!

By the way, we call him Lucky because he has two things Shadow lost a long time ago.

Not great on the writing thing but sure am having a great time reading your blog. By the way Kirk says the little birds are sandpipers, posibly yellow legs but can't be absolutly sure because it is hard to tell just how big they are. Mel, Michelle says that one of her friends daughter has an extra vertibre (spelling?) so it may not be that unusual (your really not an alien ha..ha). Your house looks great and so does siestaland. You guys look wonderful especially shadow. Keep on blogging. Love to all.

Yeah sandpipers was what we figured as well although there must be hundreds of varieties worldwide. The full grown ones are probably 10-11 inches, beak to tail. They won't let us close enough to get any better pictures with our litle snapshot camera.

Ha, siestaland looks good, I got to thinking about clippers for shadow, but then realized that he would look pretty weird naked, sunburned too, lol.
