Carl is quite fond of the local pickled onions, so we decided to make our own- they're great on everything. Sliced onions, a hot pepper, salt, vinegar and a ton of lime juice.

Nice picture of Carl hard at work in the kitchen - I'm looking forward to trying the pickled onions.
I think we're going to go with curtains instead. We may get her help, as I said to her, I've been driving myself crazy trying to find a table to put my sewing machine on, but what I really need is someone who can sew!
I saw the perfect curtains on overstock.com, but when I went to buy them, they don't ship to a P.O. box. sigh.
